Current Openings
Full-time Licensed Contract Therapist
We currently have an opening for a full-time licensed contract therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our office in Haymarket, VA. We are looking for someone with a passion for helping families, couples, and adults with relationship issues and a focus on each client’s overall wellness. The position requires at least 1 day time shift a week with a minimum commitment of 18-25 hours/week. Hours and days are flexible to meet your schedule. There is potential to also work with groups and develop workshops and classes in the community. Experience in running groups is plus but not necessary.
Part-time Licensed Contract Therapist
We currently have an opening for a part-time licensed contract therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our office in Haymarket, VA. We are looking for someone with a passion for helping families, couples, and adults with relationship issues and a focus on each client’s overall wellness. The position requires a minimum commitment of 8 hours/week. Perfect for clinician’s in agency or school settings who want to dip their toe in the private practice waters or those who want to focus on other endeavors (e.g. family/parenting responsibilities, writing, grad school) while still keeping their clinical skills sharp . There is potential to also work with groups and develop workshops and classes in the community. There may be room for growth to a full-time position over the next 3-6 months.
Marketing & Community Relations Intern
We currently have an opening for an unpaid internship to support our marketing, and community relations efforts. This position is ideal for a graduate or mature undergraduate college student interested in learning about the business and administrative side of the mental health field. We offer a flexible schedule and most tasks can be completed online and/or from home (or school). Some of the tasks you will be asked to do include help managing social media campaigns (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, blogging); contacting other health professionals and community organizations; assisting with group and workshop preparation and delivery. Strong writing and organizational skills are a must. Although this is a non-clinical position, there is potential for clinical opportunities to observe and/or co-facilitate groups and other events for graduate students in psychology, human development, or other counseling programs.
