Preparing to spend the rest of your life with someone can be exciting and stressful, and finding the time to
explore your struggles, thoughts and feelings is sometimes overlooked. This 6-week group offers an
opportunity to not only designate quality time to this matter but also to help couples navigate the challenges
and frustrations that often accompany this wonderful journey in their lives.  We will help couples to address
common communication difficulties and to develop basic relationship skills that will serve them long after
they say, "I do."  We will work to identify and understand common stressors faced by couples planning their
wedding as well as the first year of marriage.  We will also introduce ways to tackle the "troubling triad"-
money, sex, and parenting and cover a variety of models for marital success including concepts from
The Five
Love Languages and The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work.

This group is recommended for couples who are considering marriage, engaged or are in long-term committed
relationships. This is also an excellent group for couples who want to establish a strong marital foundation
during their first year of marriage. This group will be offered in a condensed 2-day workshop occasionally
throughout the year.  Please visit our
workshop page or online scheduling system for upcoming workshop
dates.

The books mentioned above can be purchased on our
Resources page.
