| Money issues play a major role in the challenges facing parents today. Whether you are struggling to make ends meet, having trouble setting spending and savings goals, or simply need to learn how to talk about money with your children or ex-spouse- this group is for you. Based on the Money 1 to 1 program used with couples, developed by AFCPE (Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education), this specialized program enables our therapists to work with single parents to foster honest self-reflection around financial issues. Offered as a introductory workshop and a 6-week group, Money Matters is an excellent opportunity to explore the underlying emotional issues that drive our financial goals and decisions while developing the communication skills necessary to pass on healthy and effective financial habits to your children. This group is designed for single parents, if you are a parent who is married or in a long-term relationship please check out our Money & Marriage group.
